Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your LegalMind account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to do it and what gets removed.

Delete your account from the app

The fastest way is from within the LegalMind app:

  1. Open the LegalMind app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
  3. Type the confirmation phrase DELETE MY ACCOUNT and confirm.

Your account is deactivated and signed out immediately, and your local data on the device is wiped right away.

Don't have the app installed?

If you've already uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email us from the address associated with your account and we'll process the deletion on your behalf:

  • Email: admin@cosmixgroup.com
  • Subject: Account deletion request
  • Please send it from the email address you used to register, so we can verify you.

We action verified requests within 7 working days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account credentials and profile data (name, email)
  • Matters, case records, drafts, checklists, and AI-assisted documents
  • Highlights, bookmarks, and notes
  • Your diary entries and activity timeline, including any calendar events imported from a connected calendar
  • Your conversations with the AI assistant
  • Assessment attempts, answers, and the related measurements described in the Privacy Policy
  • Files you uploaded to your workspace
  • Library subscriptions and reading history
  • All data stored locally on your device

Your account is closed and your data made inaccessible as soon as the request is processed; the records above are then permanently erased from our systems within 90 days.

What we may retain

After deletion, personal data is erased from our active systems within 90 days. We may retain a limited set of records for longer only where the law requires it — for example, payment and tax records needed to comply with financial regulations. These are not used for any other purpose and are deleted once the legal retention period expires.
